Last year, Channing Memorial Church participated in the Howard County Pride celebration in Columbia. It was an exciting way to show our support for the LGBT+ community and for Channing to gain more visibility in the community at large. We spoke to dozens of people who visited our table and provided them with information about Channing and Channing tote bags. It was a gratifying experience for those who staffed our table.
Channing has again been accepted as an exhibitor for Pride 2024, so mark October 13 on your calendar. We are asking for volunteers to help staff our table during the day, so if you wish to volunteer for a shift, please contact Ken Grim ( kengrim@verizon.net ) or any member of the Outreach Team.
