“Born of Bright Faith”— a sermon by Rev. Gretchen Haley, with Worship Associate Pam El-Dinary

“Most of us recognize this kind of moment – the hope of finally blossoming after holding our lives tight in a bud… we respond with yes, despite no new evidence, no change in fact of circumstances, just a new conviction – and then, we follow it through. This is faith.”–Gretchen Haley

The Vernal Equinox signals the beginning of spring, a time of renewal for the earth that can also inspire personal renewal.  As we continue our Soul Matters theme of “Renewing Faith,”  Worship Associate Pam El-Dinary will deliver the sermon “Born of Bright Faith,” written by Rev. Gretchen Haley.

About Rev. Gretchen Haley

Gretchen Haley is relentlessly curious about most things, especially the big stuff of theology, the magic of collaboration, and the great joy of pop culture. She has an audacious ambition for the liberal church, believing in its capacity to transform lives and our world by way of hyper-local relationships and partnerships that inspire the unleashing of courageous love. She finds solace in the trails in and around Fort Collins, Colorado, where she serves with the brilliant Rev. Sean Neil-Barron as one of the ministers of the Foothills Unitarian Church.

For those who already have the Zoom Id for this event,  please note that passwords are required for dialing in and you should read the Minister’s emails or the weekly Channing email news, which will include the necessary information.

Please write to membership@channingmc.org for a zoom id for access to this service.  We would appreciate your name, email address and (if you plan to dial in) the last 4 digits of your phone number.    This will help us keep a safe and secure online service.    We would appreciate requests a day ahead, though we will do our best to respond to all who wish to be a part of our service.   Thank you for your interest and we look forward to seeing you.
Note: Channing Memorial does not record any online Zoom meeting.   Members and prospective participants will be notified in advance if this changes.
